Two sailors,
one electric dream

We're Kirsten and Kai. We traded life on land for something wilder, a vintage sailboat converted to run on clean electric power, with an open-ended ticket to wherever the wind takes us.

SV Nami is more than a boat. She's a floating experiment in sustainable living, a home that moves, and proof that you don't have to follow the path society lays out for you.

Almost everything aboard has been rebuilt, rewired, or reimagined by our own hands, from the rudder that steers us to the solar systems that keep us moving. Nami is a DIY project that never stops evolving.

We've traveled from the mangroves of the Florida Keys to the turquoise reefs of the Caribbean, documenting every mile, every repair, and every sunrise from the cockpit.

The Margarita Fund

Sailing the world on an electric boat isn't always cheap, there's diesel-free engine fixes, reef taxes, and yes, the occasional seaside margarita. If you've enjoyed following along and want to throw a few bucks toward the adventure, we'd be incredibly grateful.

Every contribution goes directly toward keeping Nami sailing. ๐ŸŒŠ
